For being named Bright, that LB sure isn't living up to his name.

Plus I saw on twitters, the Beavers are breaking their huddles with a "f*** the ducks" all week! This is going to be good!

I would love to see #21 truck the Lb and give him something to remember. I sure hope
we hang 60 on them in the first half... I have a couple of friends that are beaver fans and
they talked smack after last years game. but have been really quiet this year.

Going 1-10 tends to have that effect.

I'm interested in hearing his opinion after the game.

I have said this so many times, he was one of our best backs ever, and he had a viscous stiff arm!
And he was just one of those guys that was plain ol fun to watch.

Run up the score. Idgaf. Sometimes you have to put little brother in their place.

That TD run by Jeremiah is still my favorite single play of all time. I have no idea how all of those guys in orange jerseys were unable to tackle him, but that stiff arm was one for the ages, and from a guy whose stiff arm had its own facebook page. Classic.

Sophomore linebacker LaMar Winston starred at Central Catholic in Portland before signing with the Ducks. In his first year in Eugene, the Ducks dropped their first game in the rivalry in eight years in Corvallis. With so many ties to the state, Winston has heard plenty from the OSU faithful in the aftermath.

“Hearing all that for a whole year definitely weighs into your preparation for the upcoming week," he said. "I’m taking all of the comments into consideration this week."

But this week's game is more than reestablishing dominance over a rival, according to Winston.

“This is a statement game," he said. "We need this game. Not only for my teammates, but our whole program, our fans included. I’m excited to go out and send that message."

“I believe in no mercy," senior safety Tyree Robinson added. "Let these coaches know what it’s going to be from now on."

Looks like the team is looking foward to whooping on the beavers just like us fans.

As said before, they would be 0-11 if Portland State would have had a decent place kicker.

Looks like it will be a very wet day/evening Saturday at Autzen, so that could keep the scoring down somewhat. Of course, it would also be an opportunity for the Ducks to EXCEL in the rain rather than wilt in the rain, which seemed to happen last year.

Weather forecast now doesn't look so bad for gameday, and in fact could be rain free during the game itself.

Go Ducks!
