Looking at the Stanford stats they weren't sharp either. 350 yards offense but 308 for UC Davis. Threw 2 interceptions and racked up 10 penalties.

Oregon will get curb stomped next week in front of national tv... just overjoyed at that. Game day possibly coming to town and go but and look like garbage all game. If Oregon scores 20 points next week I will be surprised. Thinking it will be like 48-17 or something. Absolutely pathetic game. As some have said we see the same issues with receivers as week 1. Why is there 0 improvement in that. Do we seriously have no competent receivers who run good routes or get open and 0 mid passing game? What are the coaches doing?

They're only going to run a handful of plays. Unfortunately I dont see the defense stopping them.
Ducks haven't stopped this play in years.

The new style big Offensive line looked just as unimpressive as the smaller one did in games like this where the offense just could not get anything to work consistently.

lukeyrid13 wrote:I think our coaches started the game coaching far too vanilla. 8 of our first 9 plays were runs up the middle. We should have come out guns blazing and then stepped off the gas. Herbert never got into a rhythm. Frankly, it looked like a Taggart coached game with very simple plays and not much alterations as the game went on.
Apparently you didn’t see the FSU-Syracuse game today. As bad as this game was for our offense, Taggarts offense put up 7 points today on 5 or 6 first downs.

I think Thomas Graham thinks he is much better than he actually is. Dude gets smoked constantly. Talks sh*t constantly while getting his *ss beat. How many long balls is he going to give up? Dude had big games his first 3 games as a freshman, and it went to his head. He hasn’t had a pick in 14+ games, plus had a huge PI when it would have got the Ducks off the field. He needs to STFU, and play better ball.

I think everyone is overreacting

This team will show up for Stanford

Not sure they'll win, but I think this game was looking ahead

X2, I sure felt like the Ducks played like they were looking ahead to Stanford.

I was at the game and it sure felt like they were looking ahead.

Indicative of a new, young team. Its great to have the enthusiasm, looking at the big game coming up. Experience teaches how to channel the excitement. Cristobal & this staff seems like they are equipped to get the Ducks in the right frame of mind this coming week.
