I'm trying to think of a football Duck in my lifetime who has had a better career than Haloti. Dan Fouts is about the only other one I can come up with. What a career. What a mountain of a man.

Don't know your age but Mel Renfro was a 10 time pro bowler and 7 time all pro in 14 seasons plus the HOF. Oregon has had some great ones.

Speaking of great Ducks! How is this man not in the HOF?

I didn't start closely following Oregon until the 'Bob Berry and the Firehouse Four' years. I knew of Dave Grayson but not his accomplishments. Thanks, always good to learn something new.

Pat Chung doesn't have the individual accomplishments, but he's got so many rings, you'd think he has a place in that conversation.

Max Unger, who also just retired in the last week, had 3 Pro Bowls in 10 seasons.

My only thought is to get him in campus some next spring, two prong approach with him and Big Joe with recruiting.

Good for Haloti, enjoy the rest of your life!

My only question is does he make the HOF? Was considered the top defensive player in the league for a year or two...5 pro bowls seems kind skimpy for the HOF though....

Oregon is currently tied for 7th most NFL HOF players. Would be nice to be bumped up to top 6!
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

I don't think he will make the HOF.
