In a way I'll be wanting this weekend to "hurry up and get over with" so the focus can be on the conference opener at Stanford. No significant injuries, please.

On why JJ Tucker didn't play-
"We felt other guys deserved to play more."
Really wonder what that means.

Does Stack leaving open up another scholarship for the 2020 recruiting class?

reading between the lines only and guessing maybe JJ did not prepare as he should have. Without throwing the kid under the bus he may be using this as a way to send a very clear message. My two cents- no inside info just a guess.StevensTechU wrote:On why JJ Tucker didn't play-

I hate the 7:45 start times. I know it’s paycheck game and it’s needed for TV. Just sucks as a fan to have to be back home so late.

If JJ is only 50/50, I hope they rest him for Stanford.

I'd be shocked if they didn't.karlhungis wrote:If JJ is only 50/50, I hope they rest him for Stanford.

I can one-up ya, try being in Europe. I managed to stay up til 4 am or so the last couple weeks, but this one I'll be skipping.Oregon Ownage wrote:Imagine being a fan on the east coast, its brutalGoDucksTroll wrote:I hate the 7:45 start times. There's a bit more from Cristobal on JJ in the O-Live piece from yesterday (https://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/2019/0 ... o-day.html):StevensTechU wrote:I'd be shocked if they didn't.karlhungis wrote:If JJ is only 50/50, I hope they rest him for Stanford.
"Still coming around,” Cristobal said. “It’s a soft tissue thing. We expect progress and it’s going to be close. I think now we’re kind of coming towards this thing could actually be a go.”
That last sentence (despite not really being grammatical) sounds slightly more optimistic to me about JJ's possibly playing vs. Montana. If he's OK enough to go, I suppose an argument for playing him this week, at least a little, might actually be so that he's more "game ready" when we meet Stanford the following week.
