Stating the obvious, but we really need Pittman and Juwan Johnson back. Our WR's outside of JJIII are bad.

This might be the worst collection of skill players I can remember at Oregon. Stone hands Ryan Bay has dropped passes for 3 years now.

Travis Dye and Darrian Felix broke as many tackles as I did tonight.

Nice run by Dollars there. Just not enough speed to score.

Well that was kind of a boring game, I think the ducks didn’t take Montana seriously and are looking forward to getting revenge on Stanford. Oregon won this game by far superior talent. There were a few fun things though:

-Herbert with a couple exciting plays, especially that TD pass to JJ3 after avoiding what seemed like a sure sack.
-Mesa Funa is a special player! Could be Oregon’s most talented LB ever! He may be the best LB on the team right now and that’s saying a lot. He’s gonna have a great NFL career if he doesn’t get plagued with injuries and if he doesn’t make dumb decisions in life.
-Gosh KT is fast! Has a few things to work on but he also will be a great one! There was a play he was in pass coverage and he outran the receiver, I think he forgot he was on defense for a second there.

There were some disappointing aspects:
-OLine looked bad, Cristobal gonna get on them in practice this week.
-Young secondary kept leaving the middle way too open giving Montana easy 3rd down conversions.
-Darn injuries to Graham and Hanson. Hope they’re OK.
-RB vision continuing to disappoint. Not sure why Dye got a bulk of the carries, he seems to have the worst vision of any RB on the team. Just have not liked what I’ve seen from him this season.

As lame as the game kinda was, nothing worries me about it. A fired up and motivated Oregon team will show up against Stanford next week, I expect Oregon to win by at least 3 scores.

Dollars getting caught from behind recalls the knock on him that he lacks top-end speed.

Get it, but the D is tight. Mykael talking trash to Akem, and playing press and one yard off him. Dude is good. Avalos trusts him big time. Ducks have some freaking good young talent on D.

I said aloud "he is gone" and then I said "i guess not". That big guy caught him rather easily. Great gain though.

We haven’t had that elite back for awhile, we were spoiled for so many years.

Last year I blamed our running game on the OC but after tonight I have to say our backs spend way to much time trying to move the pile and no time looking for cuts and cutbacks. I even don't blame the O line though they did have a bad night on run blocks. If the backs had cut there were from 3 to 6 long gainers or touchdowns available.

Yep. The Ducks wouldn't even be close to a top 20 team if they created a national ranking for the skill position players on each team.

Mastro mastro mastro. Honestly, might need a new RB coach.
