Juwan Johnson?

Post by Alan »

Does anyone here know if Juwan is 100% ready to play today?

Considering Mario mentioned getting schooler and Pittman back but no mention of Juwan I would say no. Rumors of calf strain(4-6 weeks typically) and also rumors of Achilles. No one really knows though.

Juwan was suited up, in full game gear, heading down the tunnel with the rest of the team prior to the opening kick-off...

Johnson #6... Camera was directly behind him.

Herbert missed him late on 2n10 and Huard was rather critical of it too.

I missed that play, but yeah, I definitely saw him lined up a couple times.

Huard is really hard to listen to these days. I live outside the US, so don't have the ability to listen to the radio broadcast.

Huard was actually dead on that play. Herbert threw it into quadruple coverage meanwhile Johnson was unguarded and would’ve gotten at least 20 yards on that play. That was a very very poor play by Herbert, one that an NFL caliber QB should never make.

There was also a play where Herbert threw to the running back on a pass where Juwan was about 6 yards from the end zone with no one near him and it would have been an obvious touchdown had he just caught the ball and walked from there.

I mean, he is the QB coach and all we've seen is regression in Herbert since he showed up.
