Besides the injuries and all the penalties, it was a rather good game by Oregon. Really thought Colorado would put up more of a fight than they did but the Ducks' D just snuffed out any hope they ever had.

Even when the offense puts up a good game like this they’re still outshined by the defense. Can’t believe how quickly and drastically Avaolos has changed this defense.greenyellow wrote:Besides the injuries and all the penalties, it was a rather good game by Oregon. OK it's clear that Pac 12 refs believe if the ball is close and the receiver didn't catch it it must be defensive pass interference. I saw one that was right, one that was offensive and a lot that should have been no calls.
On injuries, I saw a lot of boots but no ice not sure if that's good or bad. Usually, serious injuries get extensive icing don't they?

Our defense played another phenomenal game against an above average offense. Our offense looked good, but I'm not convinced it is good or has improved because it was against an injured and young sub-par defense. If our offense can put up the same numbers and performance next week at UW, it will be a good indicator that our offense has improved and is good.

Hard to get a read on injuries. I didn't notice Dye after he left the game. When Breeland was shown on the sideline he looked a bit sullen, saw Holland once and he seemed in good spirits, joking around with another player.Quietduck wrote:OK it's clear that Pac 12 refs believe if the ball is close and the receiver didn't catch it it must be defensive pass interference. Troy and Holland’s injuries seem minor according to Cristobal postgame
Breeland, likely not minor

What is going on? And it’s amazing.
Breeland has a hammy or quad injury, Holland’s looked worse. My buddy’s GF was watching the game with me and she’s a doctor with a specialty in related stuff, she’s sure Holland has a ligament tear, and Breeland has a serious quad injury - she said that brace is what they use for serious quad stuff like a tear or rupture.

well MC specifically said Dye’s and Holland’s injuries were ’pretty minor’ per The Oregonian. Suggest you might also want to check Moseleys twitter feed.GoDucksTroll wrote:What is going on? And it’s amazing.

Amazing performance by the defense. Hopefully Dye and Holland are ready to go for the Mutts.
