“The way that we’ve played, the way our team is progressing, the betterment of our team, without question I feel we need to be in that conversation," Oregon coach Mario Cristobal said. "I’m not going to shy away from that; that’s just a matter of fact. And we got to keep getting better. We got to keep playing better. There’s a lot of football to be played against a lot of really good football teams, so we’ll focus on them.”

Wow Reggie Bush, only two conferences represented? That'd be a disaster.

Oregon is #7 in the first CFP poll, right behind Georgia.

Fair ranking for Oregon, I wonder where they’d be if they hadn’t choked away the Auburn game, I’m still struggling to get past that one.

It would be great if Oklahoma would lose another one. Iowa St, 5-3 this Saturday, @ 8-0 Baylor, TCU, 4-4, and close @ Oklahoma St. 6-3. Maybe Fleck, with his new deal, can row his Golden Gophers over Penn State.

I think they would only be at #5 or #6, ahead of Georgia for sure, but behind Penn State at least.
