I think there is a QB run component they just arent using. Maybe to protect Herbert.

I still think Pistol with a non running QB is a stupid system, but the playcalling and game planning has been much better overall.
I'm wondering how the Pistol will look next year with Shough as he's a slightly better runner than Herbert.

I'm hoping next year we don't see the pistol anymore.

I love that the players are talking about last years game (and Arizona’s dirtiness). I don’t care if we get some dumb penalties as long as they win and impose their will. Football is such a momentum and energy game - some fire in the belly can turn a close game into a rout as we saw against USC.

^ Agreed. I’d rather get a few passion penalties if it means we are being the aggressor all game long.

I rarely get this feeling and maybe it's hubris based on the 2nd half against USC, but I think we win this game by 30+, maybe 40+.

That's a really crazy combo, but I think I like it.

Pac 12 after dark in November what could possibly go wrong. LOL I kid. I do worry some but probably do for every game. I think Oregon wins by 21.
