Some cool stats from a ScoopDuck poster.
“ Wisconsin had 38 minutes of possession, 322 yards, and 18 first downs on 72 plays.
Oregon had 22 minutes of possession, 204 yards, and 13 first downs on 51 plays.
Oregon got a first down every 1:41 of time of possession, and Wisconsin got one every 2:07.
Oregon got 9.27 yards per minute of possession, and Wisconsin got 8.47.
And remember that Oregon "lost" 15 yards because of kneel-downs... and 15 yards is a pretty big chunk of 219 yards (and three plays is a decent chunk of 51 total plays). This also doesn't take into account Wisconsin lost 59 more yards due to penalties than Oregon did, so Oregon moved the ball even more efficiently than the numbers above indicated.”

We SHOULD also get Cam McCormick back next year. Can't expect anything from him due to injuries, but if he comes back healthy he could be a difference maker.

If I'm Sondheimer I'd be less concerned with Oregon and more concerned with the LA Times staying solvent.Bighonkingduck wrote:Graham puts Sondheimer (whoever the F he is) in his place!Merganzer wrote:

"The Oregon hype is just that. Hype. USC and UCLA will be just fine. A degree matters. Living in L.A. matters. Playing in L.A. matters. I'm not buying the hype."
Actually, pretty smart not to buy the Oregon hype. Oregon's been only good for like, the last 20+ years. I

From his tweetie bird (He's outa his tree!) profile:Phenom wrote:Interesting dude talking about USC and UCLA degrees when he went to Cal State Northridge.
"Eric Sondheimer has been covering high school sports for the Los Angeles Times since 1997 and in Southern California since 1976. City Section HOF 2019."
Must be a real up and comer, eh?
