Re: OC Wish List
Ok if indeed he's the one now we get to learn
if Mario is going to let him actually run his offense
or tell him we run from the pistol and you can tweak it.
From what i've watched is he's likes the spread run from the
shot gun. His offense at Penn State was very good. I really hope
he has full run of the offense and calls the plays.

Re: OC Wish List
Rumor is Mario watched the natty, and saw how awesome LSU O is since they gave Brady control. He decided he could give full control to Moorhead.duckfan22 wrote:Ok if indeed he's the one now we get to learn

That's a good rumor..hope its true...Mario is a great coach but likes tobuckmarkduck wrote:Rumor is Mario watched the natty, and saw how awesome LSU O is since they gave Brady control. He decided he could give full control to Moorhead.duckfan22 wrote:Ok if indeed he's the one now we get to learn

have his hands in to much. With Mistro and he is the pistol guy would he
stay or go... if we run what Moorhead did at Penn State we will be lethal i think ..
And that really opens up the qb room.

Re: OC Wish List
Where is that rumor coming from? There would be very few people that could be a source for that.buckmarkduck wrote:Rumor is Mario watched the natty, and saw how awesome LSU O is since they gave Brady control. Re: OC Wish List
I imagine Mario will let Moorhead have full control but will ask for some component of a power running game with a little slower pace so the offense and defense can control the game, not just have the offense control the game. If Mario lets Moorhead have control and he can implement a great offense at Oregon, look out, we may be coming towards that coveted national championship.

Re: OC Wish List
Will Moorhead also be the QB coach? If so, will the staff be complete or are the rumors of Bouknight leaving still floating around?

Re: OC Wish List
I think it's probably a correct assumption that Moorhead will also be the QB coach since he's done both roles at every school he's been the OC.

He pretty much has to be the qb coach right? I thought we don't have room for another assistant unless Bo leaves.OregonFan4Life wrote:Will Moorhead also be the QB coach? If so, will the staff be complete or are the rumors of Bouknight leaving still floating around?

I haven't seen anything putting those rumors to bed. The season ended only 2 weeks ago.OregonFan4Life wrote:Will Moorhead also be the QB coach? If so, will the staff be complete or are the rumors of Bouknight leaving still floating around?

On recruiting:
“[Moorhead] signed back-to-back top 25 recruiting classes at MSU, including the first 5-star offensive lineman prospect in program history, and 12 4-star-or-greater signees were the most in a two-year span at MSU since at least 2000.”

That would be great, but, Mario is gonna be the offensive lineman he's always been and I'd find it hard for that big cat to change his stripes/spots.duckfan22 wrote:That's a good rumor..hope its true...Mario is a great coach but likes tobuckmarkduck wrote:Rumor is Mario watched the natty, and saw how awesome LSU O is since they gave Brady control.
