So where does Oregon end up in the final rankings?
1. National champs
2. Loser of NCC
Bunch of 2 loss teams to pick from in no particular order-
OSU
GEORGIA
PENN STATE
NOTRE DAME
OREGON
OKLAHOMA
FLORIDA
MINNESOTA
MEMPHIS
ALABAMA
I suspect some bias will come into play. Certainly would think Oregon and Georgia would not drop after their bowl wins. Do both move up a spot? Does “row tied” jump one or both? Gonna be interesting...

Can’t forget Bama, only because they are Bama..... not because they deserve it.

As many expected, Oregon finishes at #5, behind LSU, Clemson, OSU, and Georgia.

Next year's preseason rankings will be difficult. LSU is losing a ton so they can't be #1. Clemson will still have a lot of talent along with their ridiculous recruiting class but they looked suspect a lot this season. They got really lucky to beat Ohio State in the Semis. Ohio State is losing a lot on defense but pollsters only focus on skill players and QB anyways so they'll probably be top 3. Georgia loses Fromm but gets Newman and a fantastic recruiting class. Bama is Bama. And then Oregon, who I think very well could be better especially with a good OC, but because they lost Herbert they probably won't get as much preseason love. But if people pay attention they'll realize Oregon may have the best defense in the nation next season. My guess for the top 5 preseason will be:
1. Clemson
2. OSU
3. Georgia
4. Alabama
5. LSU
6. Oregon
Is there anyone I'm missing?

Also, thought I'd point this out, but here's the final rankings by conference:
Big Ten: 6
SEC: 5
AAC: 4
Big-12: 3
Pac-12: 2
Mountain West: 2
ACC: 1
Independent: 1
Sun Belt:1
Pac-12 needs to get better.
