Probably verbal things, like not enough 'Sir' & 'Ma'am'. Possibly his accent.

They're an excuse for a person of " Southron Perswayshun " to take offense where none was intended.

Or dumb things like when I visit my cousin in Lousiana, and his wife tries a get their kids to call me Mr Jared.

My nephew grew up in Oregon, but has taught MS / HS math in Heidelberg, Mississippi for many years. I'll have to ask him...

'I live further South than you' can actually work as a response to being called Yankee, but only if you're from the South. I know people who pulled out maps on their phones to compare who was more yankee...

I belong to a couple of message boards and interact with several folks from the south, some are very nice and helpful...... some treat yankee’s as second class citizens, they love the South and the hell with everyone else. Not all, just some, but like politics and racism they seem to have the loudest voice....damn Yankees

I would make some comments about him not mentioning God enough, and not giving off enough of an inbred vibe (think Dabo), but I have a reputation of never offending anyone to uphold, so I will refrain.

How ironic. GoGreen is trying to belittle Mississippians and it turns out the guy is from Oregon!

Kind of counterintuitive then, when I was thinking being an SEC coach, would give them another southern recruiter. Will this not be the case?
