June 1st

I haven’t even tried to keep up with all the rumors involving openings as a result of COVID, some college campuses are supposed to are open Back up 6/1/20. Does this mean anything for Duck football? Voluntary workouts?

It looks like June 15 is the best case scenario for Oregon football returning to action, in the form of voluntary workouts.

I have ready that players are reporting June 1, quarantining for 2 weeks to start June 15. I am not sure if that I read was accurate, nor can I find the link, but thought I would share. Please take with a grain of salt.

I can see that being the case. I also read weeks ago the corona test takes a week to get results so that would fit the timeline. But would coaches be quarantined also I wonder. Again this is all just thoughts not even close to fact.

If going to ask the players to be quarantined then the coaches should be leading the way. If I was a parent of one of the players and ask the players to be quarantined then would expect the coaches would set the standard and be quarantined also.

And for how long would everyone be quarantined? While that is the purposed plan at Disney World with the NBA, this is starting to seem unlikely, especially if staff and students can return if they desire.
