Heh. Nothing tough about it. Just a fun time-killer between client calls.

I haven't had time yet to find and respond to a solid argument there. Just gave it a glance to see what they were starting to say. "Oregon is nothing special on defense." "They haven't faced a defense like ours." kind of stuck out to me.

Well, the "Oregon is nothing special on defense" is true. Thankfully, our offense has been good enough to overcome the difficulties the defense has had.

I was referring to stalking 'tough guys'... The guys on boards of teams like Tennessee and tOSU seem to have more than their fair share of toughies.

It always seems to be entertaining watching you quietly try to reason with fanatics who don't even realize they are truly nothing more than perennial band wagoners.

Going to admit this. It will be pretty good game against tOSU, It all depend on Ducks Defense, Are they going to show up? Dont let Pryor make big plays.

-Turnover is the KEY to Rose Bowl game. Turn the ball over to them will keep Buckeyes in the game, I think they will Struggle if we dont turnover the ball at all.

- C.Kelly need to pound them with the ball, Use Blount as much u can and let LMJ speed pass through their tired defense in 2nd half!.

-Masoli need to play smart and be patient at read tOSU defense.

-Special team need to step up again, please no holding or push in back during kick off return (see last night Barner kickoff return TD  )

-Use both arm to tackle!!! cant afford missing tackle and allow pryor to gain extra 4-10 yards.

I think Kenny Rowe and Eddie Pleasant are quicker than just about any speed rush specialist Pryor has run up against...

This could be fun to watch!

Be sure to post the links. I loved the Tennessee comments. Damn you Wheaton and your logic!

One of my good friends is an tOSU fan. He's in the Marines and he will actually be home for the game, so he's going to watch it with us. I can't wait!

I was circling as well wheaton...their comments were getting on my nerves but like you I will wait before I post. And they call us delusional...WTF!

I like how the fail to comment that the teams that rushed on us had a good to great passing attack and they don't have Toby Gerhart! One dimensional offenses like there's have little to no chance against us (at least historically). And our defense may not be that great but there offense isn't equipped to take advantage like the Stanford was.

Man I'm so pissed after reading their comments!

I can not wait to kick their asses!

Everything I've been seeing today shows Ohio State vs. Oregon with us designated as the home team. Does anybody have a link that specifies we are the visiting team? GoDucks.com has it listed on their calendar as vs. Ohio State, but just like to be sure I'm not grabbing a seat on the wrong side!!

I don't know. It's true that our offense has probably shined more. But, our defense has stepped up at key times for us too. We held Quiz to half his average yards on the ground. So, I don't think the D is without their merits.

Ahh. Sorry. I had misunderstood you. Yeah. The various "Flame Warriors" are too common, especially on sports forums: http://redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/warriorshtm/admin.htm

There's kind of this slow wheezing sound like a ballon with a small leak deflating if you just stick to the facts and avoid engaging in their mud-slinging. :)

I don't expect it to be a push-over by any stretch of the imagination. They really need a win there to validate a crumbling image.

I think they'll try to take most from the Stanford game and try to use their size advantage on the line to control the ball.

Will do. I still haven't figured out what happened to bucknuts though. It seems like they changed the site drastically and the same people aren't there. So, I'm wondering if there's another board or if they finally bought premium memberships or what.

Awesome that your friend can be home for that. I also have an tOSU fan who said he plans on being in Pasadena. Should make it fun to hear his take on it. He's maybe the most knowledgable college football fan I know. He can recite assistant coach names from D-II schools 20 years ago. Like an encyclopedia.

I'm thinking that the two key arguments working in our favor are that they lost to the common opponents that we beat and that their strength of schedule is way softer than ours. So, having the same record doesn't really compare.

Rose Bowl has always designated home colors to the higher ranked team I believe. USC wore home jerseys last year and in 07 against Illinois but when Michigan came in ranked higher in 06 USC wore whites so based on that I actually would have to believe Oregon will be the home team.

In addition, on Sportscenter last night after the game when they were comparing tOSU's and Oregon's stats, Oregon was on the right where the home team would go.
