Oregon's the leader, things went well, yadda yadda. Should be a great pickup when he commits.

He suffered a broken tibia and is still recovering from surgery to repair it.

Re: Christian James Oregon in-home visit
James announced on his Twitter account that he'll be announcing this Thursday at 2:30 PM. Matt Prehm thinks James is leaning towards Oklahoma now so Oregon may have missed out on another talented guard for the 2016 class. Based on the offer list for the 2016 class on Duck Territory, it doesn't look like there are many targets left uncommitted that seem like Oregon leans. I could easily see Altman go with a few JCs to fill in any gaps left by not being able to get HS players and get a bit of experience on the roster.

JC works too, but would be really nice to land James.

Re: Christian James Oregon in-home visit
He chose Oklahoma, saying he liked the atmosphere at Oklahoma and felt like he wasn't a top priority for Oregon, especially after his injury. There hasn't been anything good to speak of with Oregon recruiting ever since Manuel committed. Seems they've sort of squandered whatever momentum they had with that big recruiting weekend during the Michigan State football game. With how few HS players are left on their board with offers, I think Altman is going to try for the quick fix with a bunch of JC transfers.
