Ionescu has a broken thumb that happened on Tuesday, which helps explain their loss vs. Ole Miss on Wednesday. Two others of their super freshmen class, Jayde Woods and Lydia Giomi, also have hand injuries. No timetables on recovery time that I'm aware of.
hey blew out Portland St. Sat. night, but it'll be interesting to see how they do in their opening weekend of conference play, at MKA two weekends from now.
