Final Four: #3 Oregon vs #1 UNC (Saturday 6 PM CBS)
No exact time has been set for Oregon's game but considering most games take around 2 hours and then the time they give for warmups, I'm figuring the game will begin sometime between 6:00 to 6:20 PM PST.

They never start on time when it comes to the same court and back to back games. I think greenyellow is right, it'll be around 9-9:20pm ET.
So pumped!

Plus games run long all the time so I'm suspecting it'll be sometime after 6 PM.Ducks10 wrote:They never start on time when it comes to the same court and back to back games. I think greenyellow is right, it'll be around 9-9:20pm ET.

I hate how they play these games in a football stadium. It has a tendency to make teams shoot below their average, which could be bad for guys like Dorsey and Brooks who have a permanent green light.

Yeah that's so true, it really showed with Buddy Hield last year. Oregon will just have to be the aggressor.Lightning Strikes wrote:I hate how they play these games in a football stadium. The biggest problem is the depth perception looking at the baskets in these
stadiums. I think they should block off the back ground. Try to simulate a real
bb stadium. But both teams have to deal with it.

It's being reported that starting UNC PG Joel Berry II is now suffering from two sprained ankles and they're unsure how healthy he'll be for Saturday's game. He suffered one sprained ankle in practice this past Saturday and then sprained his other ankle in the UK game. He was severely limited laterally and UK attacked that. I could see Oregon test that with some ball screens to get him on Dorsey or Brooks so they can test whether he can defend drives.

Kenny Smith said after the Kansas game that until a team has the size to match up against and slow Oregon's guards (Brooks and Dorsey) they wouldn't lose. I don't know much about UNC but looking at their roster it looks like their two guards are small but they have a ton of size at the 3, 4, and 5 spots.
I'd be interested to hear some analysis form those of you who have seen UNC play this year.

Just going off their roster the guard with the most minutes, other than Berry, is Kenny Williams. He's listed at 6'4 180. Pinson is listed as a F.Ducks10 wrote:Pretty sure their SG is like 6'6 too. Pinson.
But I've literally watched UNC play for about 5 minutes all season so I have no real idea ha.

Their shooting guard is their top scorer and is 6'6" that will be a battle I imagine Brooks gets himdthomas=ddixon wrote:Just going off their roster the guard with the most minutes, other than Berry, is Kenny Williams.
