Oregon will head to Pittsburgh as the 11 seed in the Midwest Bracket to face 6 seed South Carolina. This will be the first time they've ever played.

I don’t understand all the hate for our 11 L, yet tons of the 68 teams have double digit L, and the computers love them. I really think we can make a run

SCe tallest player is 6’8, Donte should eat in this game.

Is this a good draw? I didn't follow basketball nationally, but my impression is that the next few games are winnable, yes? I'm cautiously optimistic that a late run could be possible, but wouldn't be shocked with a 1st round dud either.
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

I’d personally rather be playing Clemson or BYU, but we can play with anyone if we play D like we’ve had the last week.

The game is currently a pick 'em game with the current betting odds.

I looked at their roster and they had a 7 foot player, does he not play much?

I'd say any perceived warm seat is now gone.

From from I've read so far, he plays like 10 minutes a game.

Very happy with the seeding, not having to play a #1 or #2 right away. South Carolina looks tough, but winnable, especially if Dante can continue his tear. They really need some shooting. Couisnard will be playing his old team, so hopefully he can bring the juice to that game. If they can survive the week, it feels like the top of the bracket are teams Oregon might be able to hang with. Nobody sees the Ducks coming, so just play like there's no tomorrow and see what happens.

Wouldn't that be cool if us and Creighton advance? Bet Dana would have some mixed feelings about it.

Any thought of Dana's seat being warm was ludicrous! What he has done with all the injuries is amazing! Great coach!

My biggest thought with Dana, was that he seemed very just over everything. Had the sma look and even press conferences that coach Oeterson had during his last year at UW. He isn’t a young coach, and everything looked like it was taking a toll on him. But a few wins in Vegas, and he seems rejuvenated
