I'd be thrilled with a victory in Corvallis. Winning a winnable conference game on the road before they begin playing tougher opponents would be an important step.

The ducks better be ready for a battle or they will be embarrassed.

this one is difficult to forecast. we're leagues ahead of them athletically, but we were also much more athletic than utah and that didn't matter. that said, utah is better coached and runs a smoother offense.

we are going to have to help wooten out inside. that big kid of their's is skilled if not a little bullish and he can get wooten into foul trouble. that said, he's prone to picking up fouls himself.

i think our wings are better than tinkle and the thompson brothers, but it's a home game for them and most of those people would saw off their right arms to beat us in anything. this won't be like last year's CW in corvallis when it was like 40/60 duck/beaver and we clinched the conference.

a toss up, imo. hoping for the best.

And just like that, every team in the conference has a loss except AZ. It’s going to be a crazy year.

ASU falling back is not a surprise to me...

They will be a strong team, but not THAT strong.

Plus @Colorado is always the worst with the elevation and officiating.

Losing in Cornvallis would be a bad loss IMO. Oregon State is a terrible defensive team and a terrible 3 point shooting team. Just have to keep out of foul trouble, which is a real bear sometimes in the Pac-12....

Consistently they get all the calls at home.

Nice that this season Oregon does not play in Colorado and Utah. If the Ducks can keep up the ball movement and patience from the Colorado game; running the offense, not one pass then shoot a 3, this game could go well.

Oregon may be a little short-handed:

OSU leads at halftime 30-29. Oregon lucky to be in this one after shooting so poorly in the first half.

The offense is hard to watch sometimes. No creativity.

White & Bailey r the only ones playing well.

This team settles for way too many jumpers because they can't beat defenders off the dribble and/or force shots because of poor BB IQ. It's rare that this team has over 20 FTs in a game, which is a number you'd like to see nearly every game since it shows a level of aggressiveness in driving.

So far, they're getting absolutely nothing from E. Brown, Pritchard, and Wooten. Only 5 points on 2-10 shooting and 7 rebounds from that trio.
