Great opportunity for the Ducks to get in the thick of things. A sweep here would be massive and put us back into the tournament (for now).

This team has no guts. They just wander around aimlessly.

Blew the game the final 3 minutes as this team lacks a finisher to pace everyone else on offense. Definitely need those big guys coming in to be able to clean the glass for us next season.

Rebounding and FTs are what did Oregon in tonight, just like they did against Arizona.

Dana just doesn't have the horses...it sucks. A couple really talented guys and a bunch of misfits. Shame that it appears the transfers and juco guys are really struggling, which is unusual for coach but years like this happen for lots of good coaches that aren't leading blue blood teams. Hopefully Bol Bol doesn't leave because of this, as I would expect he would see how much this team needs him to start right this moment.

Why would he leave? He already signed his LOI back in November.Eksynyt wrote:Dana just doesn't have the horses...it sucks. A couple really talented guys and a bunch of misfits. Someone needs to tell Dana that lobbying with refs is a part of the game now. We're being absolutely CRUSHED by officiating this season. Even at home. It's gotten crazy. If we win at this point it's because we overcame out opponents and the officials. Is anyone enjoying watching this s***?

Exactly. Last night White was called for fouling Boatwright's elbow with his jaw; following a review, no flagrant 1 on Boatwright, for unintentional foul to the head, it stays a foul on White. Along with Altman not getting on the Refs from the sideline, part of it is the players. It isn't so much that Oregon is being called for too many fouls, it's that they aren't drawing the fouls on the other team, and that is because the Ducks are still soft. White in particular lacks aggressiveness around the basket, doesn't get the call. MM is getting to where it can work for him. But, overall, because the Ducks spend so much of the time passing the ball around the perimeter, the Refs are not going to reward them on the rare occasion they challenge the defenseKyle's Brother wrote:Someone needs to tell Dana that lobbying with refs is a part of the game now. That was actually the right call on White, however they missed an easy 3 in the key on a post player who get head faking and multiple contact fouls inside weren't called on loose balls.
People don't want to ref because coaches yell and berate them all the time so those who have an interest usually stop doing it.

2nd half, refs were clearly favoring USC with their calls. Anyway, this is totally a game Oregon should win. No NCAA this year.
