Oregon offers JC SF Tremell Murphy
Oregon has offered fast-rising JUCO SF Tremell Murphy out of Florida Southwestern College, likely to fill Troy Brown's spot if he leaves for the NBA Draft. He's originally from Indiana and has a twin brother who plays with him in FL but isn't getting looks from any P5 D1 schools.

Tremell Murphy Highlights:
Most of it is offense, a nice shot block.

His team is currently playing in the NJCAA Tournament's version of the Elite 8 in Kansas so I imagine the Oregon coaching staff might be there watching.

Good god, he's an athlete. Looks like he's a pretty good shooter, too. About 39% from 3 this season. If he plays defense sign him up. From that footage he reminds me of one of my all time favorite ducks... Alex Scales.

Our typical F transfer, which have been good contributors in the past. So sign him up!

Yeah, you're right. I think Scales was listed at 6'4 or 6'5, but was probably closer to 6'3. He could get up though! This guy looks a lot like Emory and Benjamin, too. Sounds like a he's a better shooter though. I might be misremembering how well Scales could shoot the ball. I was in middle school when he was playing for us. It's been a while lol.GrantDuck wrote:Alex Scales, loved that dude too, nice comp actually, although I think this guy might have 2-3 inches on Alex...but yeah, skinny guy, good athlete, can shoot, looks like he loves ball...sign him up!Kyle's Brother wrote:Good god, he's an athlete. Just reminded me of this picture Prehm posted from about a year ago:

Scales was a streaky shooter but when he was on, he was pretty dang good.

Dude averages more points per game than minutes... Wow. Not a bad option should Brown leave.
