While they review, at what point in the clock do you foul and let them shoot 2 rather then get a 3 off? I'd say at 4 seconds.

This is such a tough team, you could tell the players did not want to lose, no matter how badly UCLA wanted to win this game.

Everyone can un-clench now after the turnover gives it back and Sabrina hits a pair to win it 88-83.
Game was won in part because UCLA Coach Close lost her head and earned a Technical when they were up 2 with 3 to play.

Yaeger came through with nine pts. Need that a a bit more from the bench. I wish Giomi would score more, even four points.

Very true. One of the best things about Graves is his demeanor.Duck07 wrote:Everyone can un-clench now after the turnover gives it back and Sabrina hits a pair to win it 88-83.

Any idea when or if Taylor Chavez can come back? 9 deep is much better than 8. Happy for Yeager, she could be the key if she can continue to play well.

It was nice that she was going in for a lay-up.Duck07 wrote:While they review, at what point in the clock do you foul and let them shoot 2 rather then get a 3 off? I'd say at 4 seconds.

My video stream froze and I only had the audio for the end. Not sure why the would have tried the "quick 2" method with not timeouts left.Merganzer wrote:It was nice that she was going in for a lay-up.Duck07 wrote:While they review, at what point in the clock do you foul and let them shoot 2 rather then get a 3 off? Okay, advanced scouting here, in the last two games against UW, Oregon 80-64, against Stanford, 82.5 -52.5.

I'm thinking she had a moment of deer in the headlights when she saw everyone was heavily being guarded, tried to draw attention but with the time in her mind and Sabally in front of her she had the mishap happen.Duck07 wrote:My video stream froze and I only had the audio for the end. It looks like the run for the Huskies is coming to an end, should it continue like this, which team benefits more? The team with a walkover win, or the one that had to fight to get the W?
