Sounds like she injured her shoulder against LBSU:

2 things:
Boley needs to ride the pines and Giomi is a turnover machine.

Unfortunately for chavez it's looking more and more like she's deep in the depth chart this year

I wouldn't quite say that...no doubt that Shelly and Winterburn can play, but Chavez is a much better defender than both. All three have taken turns with breakout games in recent weeks. Chavez was first, then Winterburn, and now Shelly with a few. They all play within themselves and will take turns exposing defenses...Chavez will be exploding again soon..shoparound wrote:Unfortunately for chavez it's looking more and more like she's deep in the depth chart this year
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

As I say that Chavez gives Sabrina her 20th triple double.
I will say the team is so good this year, we can have mass rotations and subs and combos that are great. Sedona would have been a great wrinkle to add in.

Wow Jaz passes Taylor Lilley and Katelyn Loper for most 3 pointers in a game

Shelley is on a roll, 24.5 PPG in the last two, 15-22 on 3's 10-14 in this one. 20th triple double for Ionescu, this one including a career high 18 rebounds, 12 in the previous game.

I think many kinda slept on Oregon's 2019 recruiting class as they've been really good. Winterburn and Shelley have both had games where they've shot the lights out. Cochrane is sort of stuck behind Ruthy, Boley, Giomi and Sabally so hasn't had as much time to shine.

Any "inside" scoop on the severity of Sabally's shoulder injury? Is it her shooting shoulder?

I've now seen it being reported as a bruised sternum (likely from an elbow during the LBSU game) so it doesn't sound like it'll cause her to miss much time.gogreen55 wrote:Any "inside" scoop on the severity of Sabally's shoulder injury? Is it her shooting shoulder?

Boley's shot has been gone since three or so games the end of last season. Get her under the basket. She tall and weights enough that she can push bodies out of the way. Don't know what is up with Giomi. She is so tall I'd think she would be a dunk and rebound machine.nogerO wrote:2 things:
