Would be nice to come out hot and crush them. Seems like we have to be down my 16 to really get pumped

Duarte is continuing his great play, already with 2 steals and 9 points in the first 6 and half minutes.

Looks to be Nearly on pace for a Quadruple double....greenyellow wrote:Duarte is continuing his great play, already with 2 steals and 9 points in the first 6 and half minutes.
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

Probably the most dominant half of basketball we've played all season.

Duarte 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals, zero turnovers.
Pretty good HALF.

He bonked his knee after Stewart schooled him. Dante is a bit soft.brich75 wrote:Anyone know why Dante isn’t playing?
My guess he'll be back next week.

I was hoping that Duarte would get 30; trying to remember the last Duck to get 30 in consecutive games. Maybe Joe Young?

I found a 2 game for Young in 2015 where he "averaged" 30 in consecutive games, but it was 32 against WSU and 29 against UW. Dorsey had a great run, in then Conf. Tourney and the NCAA's, 21,23, 23, 24, 27, 20, 27, 21.Duck07 wrote:Or Dorsey in the P12 Tourney or NCAA TourneyMerganzer wrote:I was hoping that Duarte would get 30; trying to remember the last Duck to get 30 in consecutive games. Ronnie Lee or Greg Ballard may have, maybe Terrell Brandon, Luke or Luke or Freddie Jones?

Ah, missed the 'consecutive games' part.
Stanford loses to Cal, which means the Ducks are currently a half game in front of the rest of the conference. Big showdown vs. the trees next Saturday at their place.
