No Paopao in the tournament. That hurts.

Didn't we play/host South Dakota 2 years ago?

All of the Women's Tournament games are being played in Texas, btw.

Given all the talent we lost last season, a Sweet 16 run would be fantastic.

Yeah it would! We shall see. Oregon has not gelled enough to beat elite teams, but are good enough to beat anyone else when focused. Is Georgia elite? Ehh no idea, but doubt it. So Sweet Sixteen seems doable...but who knows.
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

This isn't really good news.

While it looks bad (and likely is bad), it does mean a smaller rotation and perhaps Parrish, Dugalic and Scherr will shine knowing they are going to get big minutes and wont get pulled for making a mistakes and missing shots.

The thing with the 5 freshmen is they all were used to being the one to carry their team on their backs all their playing careers. This year they have all been trying to carve spots as role players in a deep roster. I contrast that with the 2 freshman at OrSU. They had to start and play major roles. Play through their mistakes and get their ass kicked in the early season. By the end of the year they played like vets secure in their spots.

Oregon since conference play started has played tight on offense with few exceptions. They yoyo between pressing too hard and playing timid. Shooters who have been great throughout their career are having major and contagious shooting slumps and the yips.

Great game so far from the Ducks!!!! I'm happy for Erin Boley she tends to play great in the big games. The young players are great Sedona and Sabally are great down low players. The young guards are all great but one that I think doesn't get talked about enough is Sydney Parrish who is playing very well.

Oregon allowed South Dakota to score only 1 point in the 2nd quarter. The game would have been even more out of reach had Oregon not gone cold in the 2nd quarter.

Team looks good. Moving the ball well even without Paopao. Only caught a few of their games this year.

And I am going miss Boley. Such a versatile shooter.

Looks like Taylor Chavez is getting the first minutes I've seen from her tonight as she was one of those injured players up in the air status wise.
