Intriguing player. Bit of a late bloomer and obv. needs to get in the weight room. But great shot. Considering the other teams on that list... I think there's a good chance we might be favorites to land this guy.

Anyone know where we stand with Joey Buckets' brother?

Seems like a perfect fit for us considering we need a wing scorer.

I'm noticing a lot of these high level transfers are ending up at southeastern conference schools. I gotta say, I don't like it.

Been noticing that as well. Seems it's kind of cyclical. There was a time when the ACC was getting a bunch of transfers, then it shifted to the Big XII, and now it's the SEC.

Boogie Ellis just signed with USC. Don't know how high Altman was on him. But we'd better get a move on with addressing the guards soon. We need two good ones and the demand is high. Hopefully some more hit the portal as well.

We’re striking out it seems. Matt Bradley went to San Diego State too.

Yeah. Saw that. My guess is Altman is really going after UNLV's Bryce Hamilton & Tamar Bates as shooters.

... Hope he lands them.

I’d also like to see an athletic SF. Someone who can shoot it and take it to the rim. Hopefully LJ decides to stay.

Sure seems like that all the big names are bypassing Oregon for whatever reason. Only ones left who've been posted in this thread are Askew, Hamilton, Bates, Allen, and Young. Then you've got longshots in Washington, Hardy, and Beauchamp. Really got to think that losing Stubblefield has hurt them in recruiting these transfers/late signees.

SEC so rich from football deals they're starting to pay more for their hoops recruits too(outside of Kentucky, who always did).

To be quite frank, I think that's what's happening. If not the schools themselves, the bag men are more interested in basketball than they used to be and are doing that.

His 5th year. Slightly undersized for SG but would be a good Terry replacement. PG/combo.

Two more Oregon targets are off the board as Allen and Askew head to Texas.
