6 games in 4 days is going to test the pitching again. Hope they prepare by bringing the bats!

This year will not be a good year for playing in these multi game tournaments. Lack of pitching depth will definitely be an Achilles heel for this team, even in double headers.

This could very well be a 3-3 weekend.

Lexi Wagner's single led off the bottom of the 3rd. April Utect's sac fly got her in. Ducks lead 1-0.

A wild pitch brings in a run for NMSU to tie the score at 1, Ducks coming up in the bottom of the 4th.

Shay Bowden led off the inning with a home run over the left field fence, that's all the Ducks got, but enough to take the lead back, 2-1.

Ducks go to 8-2, win this one, 3-1. Next game @ 12:30 vs. Bethune-Cookman.

I like the fact Dail lowered her pitch count in this game. Still needs improvement.

That the Ducks are winning any games tells me something good is happening after all of the chaos. They are light on seasoned players and extra light on pitching. I don't know how they can keep this up but they might.

It's more interesting when Dail isn't pitching, Bethune- Cookman gets 2 in the top of the first.

This is one of the games I hesitate on our chances to win. Traditionally Bethune has had a solid SB program.
