track updates
I am surprised there isn't a thread about the pac-12 championships. the men were expected to come in 4th or 5th, i think, but they are leading with a few events left. the women could sit down and not participate the rest of the meet and still might win.

i went to the first day of events. it was a lot of fun.

Re: track updates
Oregon State had the worst showing, maybe ever. 4 points for the men and 3 for the women. Maybe that's backwards. But oregon finished with 140 and 200

Great to see the Oregon men and women continue to dominate the rest of the conference.

Re: track updates
all realistic form charts had us 2nd going in. glad to see we defied the charts and won our 6th straight, though! this is about where the men peak; we just don't have many national scorers. the women will be in contention for the national championship... let's just hope for an injury-free month leading up to the ncaa's. we've finished runner-up in 2010 and 2011, time to take it all home this year.

Re: track updates
I've got a question: How many competitors advance from Pac 12 championships to the Western Regionals, and how many competitors advance from the Western Regionals to the NCAA championships?

If you want to see a TV replay of it, I believe it is being broadcast on ROOT sports (formerly Fox Sports Northwest) on May 17th from 1:30-3:30 pm.briarduck wrote:The T&F teams rock its just too bad it wasn't on TV...The PAC12 network better solve this!

it's all about qualifying. if you have the qualifying time, you're good.RanDux wrote:I've got a question: How many competitors advance from Pac 12 championships to the Western Regionals, and how many competitors advance from the Western Regionals to the NCAA championships?

Re: track updates
I don't think that is entirely true Oregontrack. Unless the rules have changed in the last few years. I think that each school can only have a certain number of competitors.oregontrack wrote:it's all about qualifying. if you have the qualifying time, you're good.RanDux wrote:I've got a question: How many competitors advance from Pac 12 championships to the Western Regionals, and how many competitors advance from the Western Regionals to the NCAA championships?
