monty has long hated recruiting, and was never very good at it. i've always wondered what would happen if the best game coach in the pac-12 was able to work with a monster recruiting class. based on the ravings of a cal friend of mine, we're about to find out. i can't say i've paid close attention to this hoops recruiting cycle, but he says cal's in store for a monster class.

Oregon is really high on Darin Johnson, so this isn't a huge deal. It was a longshot anyway. The nice thing is that Bird won't be a Husky, and that gives us a better shot at Gordon.
