Was thinking the same thing when LSU was doing it. They should have kept playing how they were for most of the game.

It's cool, its does suck playing a game like that and losing, Until that last drive we held them to one pass completion for 0 yards in the second half.

It was good to see Ole Les try some trickeration again and see him opening up the play book. Gives me a lot of hope for next year considering all of those guys on Offense will be back.

Perhaps his record as our head coach?

Overall Record at LSU 75-18
Record vs. Unranked Teams 44-4
Record in Tiger Stadium 43-6
Record in SEC Regular Season Games 41-15
Record vs. Top 25 Teams 31-14
Record vs. SEC Western Division 26-10
Record in SEC Home Games 22-6
Record in SEC Road Games 19-9
4th Quarter/OT Comeback Wins at LSU 18
Record vs. Top 10 Teams 12-10
Wins over coaches with a national title * 13
Record in Bowl Games 5-2
Record in BCS Bowl Games 2-1
BCS National Championships 1
SEC Championships 2

I don't see how he was out coached...you must of been too caught up in that OSU/ASU game to realize that we shut them down in the first and 3rd quarter, that we put up 435 yards on the number 1 defense in the country, and that we were within 2 minutes from winning. McCarron put together a perfect drive their last possession and took the win, I wouldn't say coaching lost it. If anything their WRs making a few very tough catches and the WR on the last reception making 3 of out players miss a tackle while taking it into the end zone lost us the game.

He seems like such a liability. His clock management is famously bad. His fake fg call was so terrible. It was just comedy to watch these decisions he was making

bud: rather than the attempted FG, how about a punt, which forces bama to go long field. probably the best bama can do in that situation would be a tying FG, considering the tigers defense.

Really could have used Honey Badger on that last drive.

That I agree with you on. When we missed that FG I knew it was over. I would of punted the ball as well, but I don't get payed to make those decisions, people like Les that has taken us to two national title games and has beaten bama 4 out of 8 games even with the mighty Nick Saban at the helm does.

I guess what you have to take in consideration is our kicker is actually very good, one of the best in the nation, and can make those kicks , almost made that one, it was very close and I suppose the thought process was, "I have faith in my kicker and my defense, if we make it then they have to score a TD, field goal would be off the table and our defense was playing lights out."
