Everyone good?
Oregon didn't fall off in the ocean or anything? No "end of days" stuff going on?

Well I can report that Louisiana and PA are good to go…no earthquakes…any multiple tornados swarming in circles…no rising waters. Sigh…guess we know the Mayans got it wrong.
Disclaimer: Yes I know the Mayans were not actually predicting the end of the world, the above was just a joke

Re: Everyone good?
Lots of snow in the mountains around me here in Medford, to which I partook of some POWDER up at Mt. A today (sorry, had to brag) but other than that, all is well.

I remember New Year's Eve 1974. No snow pack. There was a huge party at Mt. A, and it began to snow heavily after the shidig was well under way... My boss was up there with his wife, and went out trying to ski.
By the time everyone headed home, it was slick enoughto keep the local towing companies grinning for a couple of days.
What a mess!

I had high winds and lots of snow/rain mix. It knocked my internet offline and I can't get it back until Thursday afternoon since the company is on holiday vacation. Only internet available now is at my sister's place.

couldn't have been the Chinese calendar either.Biggus Duckus wrote:Time is a funny thing. Between the Roman, Julian and Gregorian calendars and the days/months/years that they swept under the rug, who knows what day the Mayans actually intended the last calendar day to be.
