UCLA and Arizona both lost tonight!

Sure nice for that to happen! Oregon got a little lucky there. It still would be nice of course if Oregon didn't blow the Cal and Colorado games, but still a 1 game cushions is very nice especially with how long Artis has been out.

#1 all by ourselves. Gotta beat Wazzu. We can afford to lose to Stanford or Colorado, but not teams like wazzu.

I don't think luck has anything to do with it. There isn't a big difference between the top of the Pac-12 and the middle of the pack right now. The good thing about Oregon is that I don't think the team has plateaued yet. Artis will be back at some point, and the team definitely seemed like it was turning a corner in the UW game.

The team looks like it's starting to finally get how to attack defenses and is now comfortable with the new rotation patterns. The team actually finished with only 9 turnovers against UW, which shows they actually can take care of the ball when needed. If they can continue that type of performance, then having no Artis may not be as killer as once thought.

And we own the tie-breaker against both of them.

Both big upsets were big for us, those two games would sure be nice (even one)
