Re: Portland @ Oregon (1 game series)
Portland is off to a rocky start this season, but they usually seem to give the ducks all they can handle. The Fullerton series should be a pretty good indication of how good Oregon is right now.

Re: Portland @ Oregon (1 game series)
Has Jones been officially named Tuesday's starter, as speculated by GoDucks.com?
"Senior Christian Jones could get his first start in 21 months on Tuesday against Portland. The 6-foot-3 left-handed pitcher missed all of the 2012 season while recovering from an elbow injury. Jones returned to the mound during this year’s season opener when he pitched three innings, allowing just one hit while striking out two in a win over Hawaii on Feb. 16. Jones earned the save in the Ducks’ win and has appeared in two more games since, throwing an inning at Hawaii on Feb. 18 and two innings against Loyola Marymount on Feb 22. For the season, Jones has a 0.00 ERA in 6.0 innings while allowing just two hits with four strikeouts. In 2011, Jones finished the season with a 7-2 record and a 3.24 ERA. He started 12 games for the Ducks, striking out 73 hitters in 77.2 innings. The Danville, Calif., native struck out more than 10 hitters twice that season. He had 13 against BYU and 12 vs. Saint Mary’s."
Might make sense given his progress so far this season - I wouldn't expect him to go more than 5, though IMHO - still not the greatest weather to stretch him - maybe this weekend in Fullerton.

gold is feeling it, he's struck out 6 of his first 7 batters.
