Re: Two New JC Recruits
We need them both. It would be nice if Jalil could be a good jump shot threat, and Cook to contribute and help on the boards.

Cook is only 6'6" so I wouldn't expect too much on the boards. He averaged about 6 a game last year.UOducksTK1 wrote:We need them both. It would be nice if Jalil could be a good jump shot threat, and Cook to contribute and help on the boards.

But supposedly 215 lbs, and is solid on the offensive glass and liked to finish inside a lot (especially dunking). But you're probably right, he'll be more of an Emory type player.RanDux wrote:Cook is only 6'6" so I wouldn't expect too much on the boards. From Olive "Good rebounder, unafraid of contact, and a great, great finisher at the rim with both hands. Likes to dunk as much as possible but has the muscle to get it to the rim when he's hit."
Either way, both these guys could potentially fill voids. With EJ, Emory, and Kazemi gone, we need guys to fill at 3/4 spot. And of course, out shooting needs help (Jalil).
