Who Starts Tonight?
Gotta think Jake Reed starts and is available for 3. Then Johnny Staff. Bunch of guys you can mix and match for 3/4 innings, then Cleavinger/Sherfy on the back end.

Re: Who Starts Tonight?
I think we could possibly see Christian Jones start if he's healthy. Reed likely comes in for a few innings of middle relief.uosportsguy01 wrote:Gotta think Jake Reed starts and is available for 3. Horton hinted to the media that oregon will start a righty so we know that Jones won't start

From over at DuckTerritory, someone spoke to Gold's parents and they told them that the pitching order for today would be Reed, Cleavinger, Jones, and Sherfy.

Has Reed had enough rest? How many innings can he go?

he probably isn't rested, but it's all hands on deck. if he can give us 3 innings he's doing great.

Re: Who Starts Tonight?
He only had 75 pitches in his last start, so it's not like he's being stretched out too badly. I agree with oregontrack that 3-4 strong innings will put Oregon in a good position to ride out the bullpen the rest of the way.RanDux wrote:Has Reed had enough rest? How many innings can he go?
