Who Starts Tonight?

Post by uosportsguy01 »

Gotta think Jake Reed starts and is available for 3. Then Johnny Staff. Bunch of guys you can mix and match for 3/4 innings, then Cleavinger/Sherfy on the back end.

I'm curious to see who the Owls pitch too.

I think we could possibly see Christian Jones start if he's healthy. Reed likely comes in for a few innings of middle relief.

From over at DuckTerritory, someone spoke to Gold's parents and they told them that the pitching order for today would be Reed, Cleavinger, Jones, and Sherfy.

Has Reed had enough rest? How many innings can he go?

he probably isn't rested, but it's all hands on deck. if he can give us 3 innings he's doing great.

He only had 75 pitches in his last start, so it's not like he's being stretched out too badly. I agree with oregontrack that 3-4 strong innings will put Oregon in a good position to ride out the bullpen the rest of the way.
