NBA Championship Thread
Who do you think will win and why?
I know one thing for sure, I'll be rooting for Orlando.

Re: NBA Championship Thread
If Magic shoots well, and Dwight stays out of foul trouble,I have a hard time seeing them lose. But those are two pretty big IFs.

Re: NBA Championship Thread
I just think they match up so well...Gasol/Howard, Odom/Lewis, Ariza/Hedo, Kobe/Lee, Fisher/alston...Orlando's ability to run two great perimeter defenders in Lee and Pietrus at Kobe is gonna be the biggest key I think...Make him work the whole game...He might not be tired in game one or two but come game 6 and 7 we'll see if he still has legs

Lakers baby! i think theyll win it in 6 games just like last series. howard will be a tough matchup, but if the whole team keeps playing like the last two games they should be able to win it all.

I'll be routing for the Lakers but I like Orlando too! I see Lakers in six.
Interesting match-up, and Orlando has been playing great BB I still can't believe they beat the CAVS and in the way they did!
GO LAKERS!

Very entertaining series so far. Looks like my prediction of Lakers in 6 might come true.

Not really.. Magic could very well be up 3-1 right now.AJ_U wrote:I want Orlando but LA is just too good.
If Lee hit that lay up in game 2, and if Dwight hit a FT, Magic would have been cruising.
Unfortunately, basketball is a game of inches, and the Magic are not closing!

Re: NBA Championship Thread
Yeah, the Lakers have been very fortunate, to put it mildly. This series has more to do with the Magic pretty much giving a couple games away (this last game, at least, certainly falls into that category), rather than the Lakers displaying significant superiority. At least that is the view from my anti-Lakers perspective. ![Twisted Evil ](./images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)
I am barely interested in the series now after that choke job. Unbelievable.

Yeah, they know how to finish games. That's for sure.AJ_U wrote:I guess i meant to say LA is getting too many breaks. lol I would love to see the magic make a comeback.
I doubt Magic will come back, but it'd be nice if they could take game 5 and make this series more interesting!
