Charges against USC players dropped

Just as swiftly as the arrest news came, now the charges appear to be gone.

Charges of breach of the peace against USC’s Everson Griffen and Jordan Campbell have been dropped, USCFootball.com reported.

The site credited a Griffen family source.

Griffen’s name appeared on the Nantucket, Mass., police blotter on July 4.
