Elton Brand

The Blue Devil was the walk away player of the year this last season. More than a few scouts were surprised he went to college he was that ready coming out of high school. Exceptionally strong, he bullied even the strongest opposition at the combine out of the way. Once forcing his way into the post he ha a solid array of moves to gt the ball up and into the basket. On defense he is solid with a knack for getting around screens. He finished top in the shuttle drill for the centers this year and sent a fair number of shots into watching scouts during scrimmages. NBA ready with good potential but a number of scouts are worried by how injury prone he was at Duke.

Todd MacCulloch

While Elton Brand was branded as NBA ready, Todd outshined him on the defensive end. The starting Center on the Canadian Olympic squad, he decided to come south and spent the last 4 years at the University of Washington Fuskies. He was easily the best center for the last 3 years. Quite strong and very good at playing positional defense, Todd is relentless on the offensive boards. The way he plays on the boards, he probably missed his calling not trying out for Men's club volleyball while at university. Should find a place on a roster for a long time but, at the same time, may only have so much left to grow.

Jeff Foster

While he may have played at the small school Southwest Texas, his defense showed up huge at the combine. While most thought he would wilt when playing against the big boys he manned up and held his own. Very strong with acceptable quickness for his position. The biggest issues that scouts took away was he is rather on the thin side, at 6'11" 236, but they think he has a huge amount of upside to grow into his body.

Evan Eschmeyer
B- D D C C+ C

When the big Ten first team center finally graduated out of Northwestern, the conference let out a side of relief. He has excellent post moves and very polished footwork on the backboard. His main problems revolve around his inability to knock down his freethrows as they played hack-an-Evan whenever he touched the ball in the post.

Wang Zhizhi
C+ C- D C C+ B

The Chinese sensation has finially touched down where he belongs. He is strong, he is fast, and he jumps out of this world. He know where he is going and the league better watch out. He has outstanding motor on the boards and few in china can match his physicality on the block. While this may have been going up against players nowhere close to his level and making him look much better than he is but that does not disguise the fact that this is clearly the best chinese player to ever play in the NBA until Yao comes over.

All the centres sound intriguing honestly.
