Chukwuemeka Okafor B C- D C- C+ A

The first generation American out of the University of Connecticut "Emeka" is a towering monster in the post. He destroyed all comers en route to a loss in the championship game. He has one of the most powerful and well develop post games we have seen in a draft since Shaq. While Okafor has top scoring option written all over him, by the same token he has defensive liability also written all over him. He seems quite lazy at times and seems to be just biding his time until he can get back on offense and score the rock. Outstanding potential, he seem built to anchor a scoring load at the next level.

Boris Diaw C+ C+ C+ C+ C A

The Big man out of France does a little of everything on the court. He can pass, he can shoot and he even plays very good defense. On top of that he might have one of the highest upsides of this class. However, he will struggle to not get pushed around on defense as he repeadily showed both in League 1 and at the combine that he shies away from contact. If it is from lack of skill, determination or strength it is unknown but the result is the same. Still he has top shelf upside potential and scouts thought he made a good showing of himself at the combine.

David West C+ C+ C- C C+ A

While he was rather unheralded coming into the combine, the Forward out of Atlantic-Ten powerhouse Xavier drew a lot of eyeballs. He has outstanding range from the floor coupled with a nearly unblockable fading-away high-release jumper. He has a solid bag of moves around the goal and trives with the ball in his hands. Watching the scoring competition between he and Okafor was something special to behold. His biggest struggle comes on defense as he has a severe lack of lateral mobility that hamstrings his ability to get of screens or catch up when he gets beat initially. Scouts like him but worry his lack of defense will impose a limited upside.

Matt Bonner C B C C+ C B

The post man out of Florida University can be described in four words: in the gym range. He has easily the best outside form for a post option that the league may have ever seen. He couples this with a very mature defensive game that can eaisily have him cover three positions. His biggest issue is his ability to have any chance at an offensive rebound. His hanging back so far lead to extremely few looks from that far out barring the occasionally long carium (which to be fair with Bonner isn't often when he gets a good look). Scouts think that if he can build his game around such a good foundation as his outside shot is, it could take him far in this league.

Travis Outlaw C+ C+ C- C+ C+ A

The young gun out of the deep south of Starksville High is a tough one to read. He appears to have all the potential you would want, but he doesn't have the discipline or smarts to get him there. His idea of eating healthier (a true story) was to switch from McDonald's to Windy's. Scouts are concerned that he may be rather raw and might have been better served taking that Mississippi State Scholarship that he was tendered cause he might need a year or two to become a regular in the association. His other issue is he seems stuck between positions as he isn't good enough for the power forward position but may not have the skillset required to be a starter at small forward. He has all the potential but getting there is the tough part.

My dad went to FSU and I was raised a Nole so I know the state very well and how dare you accuse me of making a mistake in regards to FU. FU is a very good research institution and I will not have you besmirching the good name of FU.
