Pac-12 with a nice showing so far. Five of the 16 teams left are from the Pac-12. Six teams from the SEC.

What's impressive about that is two of the Pac-12 teams that advanced to the super regional beat SEC teams that were hosting their regionals. So definitely a great start for the Pac-12.RanDux wrote:Pac-12 with a nice showing so far. Five of the 16 teams left are from the Pac-12. Six teams from the SEC.

Wow, that is impressive. The Pac-12 had 8 teams to start the tournament and the SEC had 9. Definitely the most dominant conferences in the country. Hopefully the Pac-12 does itself proud from here on out. Too bad Oregon and UCLA have to face each other so soon. Go Ducks!UOducksTK1 wrote:What's impressive about that is two of the Pac-12 teams that advanced to the super regional beat SEC teams that were hosting their regionals. Impressive outing from Cheridan, the home plate ump sure had a small strike zone.

No kidding, but a good win for the ducks. Arizona beat Auburn today too.thomas time wrote:Impressive outing from Cheridan, the home plate ump sure had a small strike zone.

If the Ducks and Arizona both advance, combined with Florida already being knocked out, that would be about as fortuitous as the Ducks could hope for.

Oregon loses Game 2 in the 9th 2-1 on a walk-off single.
Early in Game 3, UCLA gets a run on a throwing error by Kosta. Oregon can' push any across in the 1st even with the bases loaded.

2-0 UCLA entering the 5th. Oregon's offense is absolutely punchless today. Besides the 1st inning, they've done nothing but hit weak grounders and flyballs. They look way too tentative and tight now.

Re: Softball Super Regional (#12 UCLA @ #5 Oregon)
Oregon squanders 2 UCLA errors in the 6th and are still down 2-0. Not looking good. Oregon hasn't adjusted well tonight and have swung way too early in their at-bats, resulting in a lot of quick, easy outs. White really needs to look at why his teams always struggle hitting in the post season.

Oregon gets a run on a 2-out double by Lilley. Not dead yet but they need another one like that soon.

Udria lines out to the LF and Oregon loses 2-1. Kinda disappointing to see them play so well yesterday but really anemic today.
