Haven't we learned anything? If Pete doesn't think a guy should be his DC, don't hire him as HC just because of his history as a player.snapt wrote:Ken Norton Jr would be an interesting hire.

Da Raiders are playing inspired ball and he can recruit. We could do a lot worse, though I doubt he'd move back to college anytime soon, especially in the midst of a playoff run.buckmarkduck wrote:Haven't we learned anything? Right up to the point where you actually watch the Raider defense.............which is a steaming pile of poo. Don't fool yourself, the success of Oakland is all due to Carr, Crabtree and Del Rio.DuckMastaFunk wrote:I agree! You know he could solve our LB problem.snapt wrote:Ken Norton Jr would be an interesting hire.

Re: Who's your off-the-wall hire
why would Petersen leave UW? No way. Not happening. He has a really good thing going up there right now. Recruiting to a good UW team is easier than to Oregon. He has things in place. What would motivate him to change? Don't say money, because we aren't going to pay him more, or at least not significantly more than UW.rsbgduck wrote:Peterson, it's possible but not probable.
