Ryon Healy being called up by A's
It sounds like the A's are going to be calling up Ryon Healy today. He'd be the first position player from Oregon to be called up since reinstatement. Congrats to him.

3. danny pulfer
hope healy has a nice, long career. he has my piece of crap team to beat up on 19 times a year.

he went 0-4 playing THIRD base, did come up with a nice scoop to turn a dp on Donaldson in the 8th with the A's up 1.

3 run homer off R.A. Dickey for his hit, homer and major league rbi's. Ryon also had a single too

with the mariners wandering through another lost season it's nice to have something in baseball to keep up with, even if it's with a division rival.

he was struggling lately, but now has hit a homer in three straight games. Just hit a two run walk off homer in bottom of ninth to win it.

Re: Ryon Healy being called up by A's
Just read a sbnation article on where the A's should play him full time. The numbers indicate he's best at the plate while playing third but seems like they want him long term as a DH. I think with a young player you want to go with what's giving them the best success at the plate to let him keep learning rather than constantly moving them around.
