I hope he doesn't "look like Tarzan, plays like Jane" this year.

Nice to see that Oregon's new assistant S&C coaches are getting the guys to work. Oregon was so far behind the times when it came to the staffing and structure of their S&C program in comparison to other P5 schools. They relied too heavily on Radcliffe and had too few assistants assigned directly to the football team.

Henry Mondoux (sp) won the day with 635 squat. Jordan Scott also hit 600.

Daaaaayuuuuummmm!
That's true Freshman Jordan Scott. Barring any injuries, he's gonna BEAST on some opposing oLines this Fall! Can't wait!

600lb freshman squat is just ridiculous!
Hopefully that kid stays healthy and builds his motor/stamina. Him, the Clemson kid, and Mondeaux, that's probably around 1800lb of squat from just 3 dudes.
Depth is an issue, but those 3 looking good!

That is nuts. I think that is more than what J-Stew was able to squat.

Snoop did 615 but what was more impressive was the 400 pound power clean he did that only Haloti beat.

I would hate to be on the receiving end of a Freeman stiff arm

The thing is, Royce is not a violent styled running back. He has the size to be. He could be so much more effective if he would punish defenders at the end of runs. That wears down a defense and should fit with his physical attributes better.
