I think Kigab and Wooten are going to be major contributors this year. The Ducks are going to surprise some people.

He had 17 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists in Canada's quarterfinal game vs France.

His rebounding numbers are really impressive. Great work rate. Going to need that with our lack of size next year. (stupid Brandon McCoy)UOducksTK1 wrote:He had 17 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists in Canada's quarterfinal game vs France.

Looks like Kigab and Pritchard made the all tournament team! Very cool that they both performed so well and will both be playing in Duck uniforms next year....

Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

From the first Draft Express article under the ESPN Insider banner:
"Oregon's Abu Kigab looks like the next in a long line of highly versatile, multi-positional forwards to play for head coach Dana Altman. Kigab spent a significant amount of time at the center position for Canada and, despite standing just 6-foot-7, was able to hold his own inside the paint thanks to his toughness. His ability to grab defensive rebounds and ignite fast breaks on his own was a major key to head coach Roy Rana's game plan."
Interesting that he played a lot of center. I have a feeling that we're going to see a ton of small ball this year.

I mean, if Brooks (bad rebounder) can be a 4 in Altman's system then Kigab can too.

A big key is if Altman can get these guys to buy in on the
defensive end. This next years team might be a better pressing team
and a bit faster on the break.

Next years team will definitely be a better pressing team. This past years team was awful in the pressure department. When you're using Casey Benson and short arms Dorsey as the point of the pressure the only way is up.duckfan22 wrote:A big key is if Altman can get these guys to buy in on the
