I'd love to see a well-oiled machine, but I'm expecting to see some mistakes. It feels unrealistic to think otherwise. Fat Mac and Faoliu are going to fit the wrong gaps, the DBs are going to miscommunicate, Schooler is going to trip on his own feet. Why? Because it's game 1 under new coaches with a bunch of guys who are new to the team or new to their position. The difference between Fr/So teams and Jr/Sr teams is tremendous. If Oregon stays healthy, I think they'll look a heck of a lot better during the last 6 games than they did in the first 6.
Wasn't Royce dealing with nagging injuries all season long? I've seen him drop his shoulder at times when its needed but he and most RB's don't play like they are Earl Campbell anymore.
Short clip from Oregonlive, but you can get a little flavor. Schooler doesn't look like a guy with 3 weeks of practice at WR. Good to see Breeze practicing, and seeing Malik Young in pads (#94).
I know that we're going to see a "Herculean" effort put out by Royce this year! He's gonna be running behind an o-line that's primed and ready to take on Cristobal's personality and dominate the line of scrimmage. They too will be playing with a chip on their shoulders. If Royce can stay healthy....he's gonna go "beast-mode" on a lot of opposing defenses. Can't wait!!!!

Edit: Just realizing this could all go under "Fall Camp Updates"
Since fall camp is all but over and it's game week now, I've moved it to the game thread. Those are going to be covering the week leading up to the game, the game itself, and then post-game discussion.
