Honestly I'm kind of hoping he goes somewhere else. I think we have bigger fish to fry. I'd much, much rather land Dort or Richardson if we're going to sign a combo guard in this class. All of Barrett, Williams, Brown and Bol should be higher priority than Ayala, too.

Haha amen. Imagine thinking that 5 years ago. Absolutely incredible what Altman has done.karlhungis wrote:Crazy we are at a point we wish a 4 star signs elsewhere.

Yeah this is a though one cuz Ayala is legit talent, but I'd rather land two big bodies for the rest of the class. Not to mention, the guys left on our radar are top 25 recruits nationally.

I know it's just a joke, but Nike has been around forever. Dana built a dynasty using 3/4 star recruits and graduate transfers. The guy is just a genius.StevensTechU wrote:Fixed.Kyle's Brother wrote:Haha amen. Imagine thinking that 5 years ago. Also if Oregon lands a guard it might be Richardson. Oregon now leads his CB predictions, two coming in today:

I like lefties. If I had to pick, I'd take Richardson over Ayala and Dortz. All are ranked about the same.

I agree about Richardson. Like I said in the original post, I'd take either of Richardson or Dort over Ayala. I think Dort would be my #1 choice if we have an extra spot after the Williams/Bol/Barrett dominoes fall, but it looks like he'll he going to an adidas school. Not sure why anyone would ever want to play for that fucking scumbag Hurley, but whatever. I'd be extremely excited to finish out the class with Richardson and Williams.UOducksTK1 wrote:

Who's the big kid that plays with him? Has a few big dunks in the highlight.UOducksTK1 wrote:

Pretty sure that is Williams, another Oregon target.

Re: Eric Ayala Announcing Saturday 10/14
Yeah, #5 is Emmitt Williams. He's an absolute beast. I said in another thread, maybe on the 247 board, that he's like a more offensively developed Jordan Bell, though without the world class shot blocking timing. No one can match Bell with that though imo. Getting him would be just as big as landing Bol or Barrett imo. I don't think he'll be a one and done just due to his size. He's a bit of a tweener like Bell. But he has program changing potential. Even if we miss out on Barrett and Bol, but land Williams, that's a MASSIVE victory. A lot of people think we have a good shot at landing Williams, too.northbeachsf wrote:Pretty sure that is Williams, another Oregon target.
