Couldn’t agree more buckmark. LMJ was a great RB at UO but no, I don’t want him as a coach.
Would also add that LMJ was given his release in SF after he became a locker room problem and his teammates disliked him immensely. He had an attitude of entitlement and did not exactly ingratiate himself well with the coaching staff.
Sure , that was then but there are some other things in LMJ’s past (not talking about the episode we all know about) that don’t make him a great fit as a coach at UO at this time.

Re: LaMichael James?
He needs to prove himself as a coach first. Possibly a GA spot and learn to coach before being the actual position coach for one of the best programs for RBs in the country.

I thought RB coaches are usually big time recruiting rainmakers?

Re: LaMichael James?
If he couldn’t get along with his NFL teammates, I’m not sure I would like him reasoning with players’ parents. But maybe he has learned from his past. He also had some angst with the past administration. Could be a malcontent, which is totally unacceptable.
