Re: Hornets/Nets
I agree
My team was drifting a bit, needed to either commit to a rebuild or get help for Kawhi and Smith. Decided given the salaries at the end of Kawhi's deal that a collection of potential was better way to go. Two high upside guards both recent #7 picks, plus the Sonics pick and cap relief next year.

Re: Hornets/Nets
BTW Hornets says salaries match. I don't think they do. If they don't, just take out Kennedy for now. And I'll trade Mason Marion for him in a 3rd part of the trade.

Re: Hornets/Nets
it should match based on the cap checker.UOducksTK1 wrote:BTW Hornets says salaries match. I don't think they do. If they don't, just take out Kennedy for now. And I'll trade Mason Marion for him in a 3rd part of the trade.
If it doesn't, just do trade 2 first (dropping Gordon), then the Kennedy trade, then the Kawhi trade, dropping the FA acquired in Green trade, King and whoever I get in the Kennedy trade. Comes out the same either way, just need to change the order so I don't have to drop anyone beyond King/Gordon.

Re: Hornets/Nets
FYI, trade checker is not always right, its 115% of the lower salary, not 85% of the higher salary, which would be a larger number
