Re: Mark Helfrich
I hope Helfrich lands with Chip. That pairing was dynamite here at Oregon, and I want to see those fireworks again.
Yes, the Duck fan in me trembles a bit at the thought of facing THAT during most seasons. But man, I loved what Chip brought to college football with Helfrich as his OC.
Also, the possible storyline of Helfrich returning to Autzen to stick it to Mullens and Phil Knight for the dismal way his firing was handled...
Gotta admit, stuff like this makes the season more exciting!

Re: Mark Helfrich
Helf would probably be Chip's best staff hiring. It's been pretty underwhelming TBH.

Re: Mark Helfrich
Great outcome for Helfrich. It seems like this is how Chip should have done it, starting out as an OC first while he got his NFL legs under him. Interesting that Helf didn't want to go back and play second fiddle to Chip at UCLA again.
It would be hilarious if Helf ended up an NFL head coach some day.

That's a great move for him. Good move for Chicago? We'll see...

He won’t be calling plays. That seems to be his sweet spot - OC and not calling plays. LOL!
